Hint: iOS has the more active userbase, so I would think more websites will work with iOS than Android so that broken sites just don't know how to write for mobile.  I've seen Google sites that, when you try to view them on Android, tell you "bzzt! go back to your desktop".  And Flash has been dead on Android for a while: I mean now it's really, really dead.  I think maybe Blackberry supports Flash?


Quite a few flash games i enjoy (any town of salem players round these parts?), plus i seem to have alot of issues playing audio streams, often video streams as well.Add to that the battery doesn't even last one day without needing to be recharged and you've got a seriously overrated phone.

Iphones are what I recommend to users that don't know or can't learn to use android properly. Bare android with customized clean boot with only the exact things you want is a godlike experience. It also helps that it's deadly fast when not overencumbered with crappy front end garbage. I have used some stock Galaxy s3 s4 s5 phones ans Samsung seems like they can't resist putting heaps of garbage on there for whatever reason. I run a Life Play and S4, and both have been rooted and custom roms loaded with my precise clean set of things on them and nothing else. Uses about 1/4 of the memory of a typical load, and the speed blows away the IP5S even on my $180 Life Play (work phone with dual sim, so I can keep my international number and local number on it at all times).

I have an Android phone but iOS is really good too. Between the two, I think Android is a tiny bit better. I haven't owned a Windows phone but most people that I know that own one really like it. I think I'll get a Windows phone next.

Have Kit Kat 4.4.4 on my Nexus 7 (2013). All the websites work, desktop or mobile. I use Chrome. Flash was dropped. Google and Adobe had a little spat awhile ago. Flash isn't needed any more anyways.

Android because
- I love the Galaxy Note series
- the most important emulators are available
- sideloading is possible without having to apply hacks
- the Galaxy Note will soon be the portable Oculus Rift

I could see myself switching to Windows Phone because of the slick OS and the gorgeous Lumia devices, but not anytime soon for the above reasons.

iOS will never ever be an option.
