*edit I said latest post count but meant latest vote count. @khan do you mean his best line of reasoning, or the best line of reasoning in game so far? If the latter what about the reasoning to you think is better than the others you've seen?

As for clyde I may be remembering wrong but I thought that game you had said you never played before, then let some info slip and then said you had played in RL. Perhaps I am remembering wrong and you were upfront about it from the get go. In regards to my slip yeah I do see that and you may be right and there may not be daytalk. It is something to consider. It did seem strange to me that he wouldn't know Day and Night were simply phases, especially if you've played RL. I also found it strange that when I first asked him if he ever played mafia before he said no and then changed his answer to RL only after Cone pointed it out.

As for Eric it's not that I don't trust him, I think it's great that he is more active and I hope he continues. His revenge vote on Cone just didn't sit well with me, but again he is new. What I found most strange tho is when Imp and Astro(more so astro) assumed he was town without considering the possibility he was coached, I think if Eric is town then he should continue what he is doing and even do more of it.

I'm generally assuming everyone is a soft read of town and then seeing who acts out of line in an effort to see who is scum.  Coaching would be strange since there isn't really any signs of collaboration but if there is day talk, I guess it could be happening.

better do as he says!

Apologies for my relative inactivity this weekend; I've been pretty busy irl. However I noticed a question was posed to me by Hylian, so I'll try to answer it.

What I meant when I disliked Nickeslbe's exchange is that he was arguing over a post count and also about inactivity when Noctis was replying in the thread. To me, that makes the majority of the previous reasoning moot, and as such it seems like it's not going to get us anywhere. But at the time, there was no other discussion going on (the thread was effectively dead) and thus, some discussion is better than no discussion. Perhaps this circular logic could eventually lead to some other user chiming in and making a slip, or maybe it would result in more directions for the conversation to go, as was the case. So whilst I disagree with arguing over such trifling details, if it's in aide of discussion particularly on the first day (heck I tried it with some of my earlier posts), then at least it may not have been a total waste of time. Hopefully that's cleared things up a touch.

On other points; I am unsure about this latest post from Khan (http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6724824). The lack of other content or a rebuttal in any form makes it feel like a "you're doing great scum buddy, keep it up!", but perhaps that's just paranoia. But Astrogamer seems to be playing very similarly to last game. Being Mafia two games in a row is unlikely; but that should not be reasoning or grounds to let him "off the hook" as it were. Past games are exactly that; and they should have minimal to no impact on this one.

Also it's been said before, but I'm more comfortable with Eric's play this game. He responded well to my accusations and has subsequently been very solid indeed (in comparison to last game where he was Mafia), and that's good to see.

Finally I'd like to hear some opinions of Clyde. Some more thought out opinions. His posts seem quite shallow and whilst that was alright for a brief period initially, it's time to present your thoughts sooner or later. And that time is now.

So Clyde; what do you think of the game so far? Who seems most suspicious to you, and why? And finally, would you care to expand on this post (http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6721556) please?

The first time I said I've never played before was in response to you asking if you had played before.

In retrospect I should have said Mafia rounds to avoid confusion.

I later cleared that up.

As for the night question, I was wondering whether or not it was literal sundown, I knew of night 1 coming up, but I wasn't sure which one you were supposed to not post on.

I'm just trying to identify what i feel are good arguments. Still trying to get a hang of this town-play thing, but a lethargic Day 1 is much harder to crack, without being the wild gunman going around and accusing people for no reason.

I'm watching for a sign, however.

That finger pointing post was a joke. I suck at using emoticons.

I'm still double-checking for who I want to point the finger at.

I'm back guys. Today we are busy here. Elections. I will follow the count. But I'll be back tomorrow

We need to start thinking seriously about who we are going to lynch today guys. As it stands, we have three people drawing on one vote and the rules for this game is that everyone in the lead gets lynched meaning we'd lose three people on Day 1. I'm currently most suspicious of Radishhead because of his out of character vote and his complete dismissal of my question as to why he thought WhiteEagle was fishing for the doctor. Saying you "can't know people's motives" is a like laughing in the point of the game of mafia and is a very lazy way of saying "I can't be bothered to do any real analysis so I'm just going to say analysis is impossible."
