It was just Smeags making a joke, I believe. For the most part anyway. It's the first day and something needs to happen, right?

And I'm not going to start paraphrasing PM's when the game started a couple hours ago. One person we should be investigating for his incorrect vote is Eric. It's too quick and it shows a severe lack of care and attention. I mean, Wright isn't even playing!

Posting anything in your PM or something too close to your PM will result in a mod killing. I very nearly fell victim to it first game and Wright did indeed fall victim to it.

One reason you'd want to paraphrase might be to see if their claim is accurate, but then you head down a slippery slope like we did last game. And it's not really something to worry about until we've got some facts to work on and people can start throwing out more accurate accusations, to whittle down the pool of potential Mafia.

Alright, still a little confused, so someone claims something and you paraphrase your PM to see if they are correct?

If they claim, say, a cop and you have a PM saying you're the cop, then perhaps that would be a good time but paraphrasing a PM is an absolute last resort and shouldn't really be used because you don't tend to get any good information out of it and you just risk being mod killed and stuck in a loop of confusion. At least, that's what happened in the previous game. The time before that there was a mod kill!
