And no, I don't think Smeags is Mafia. It's far too early to tell anything yet; the first day is more just fumbling around. We don't have any night actions to work with hence the questions and the suggestions of roles I made earlier. It's just something to get started, then maybe that will lead somewhere. Who knows? But it's better than waiting for Mafia to just kill us all.

Very much so. It's often advantageous to take stock and re-read every post from the start to see if there's a pattern forming. That tends to be better later on in the game when there's several lynches and night kills in the bag, though, thus providing plenty to talk about.

I always hate the first round of mafia games. You're always clueless.

But you're correct. There's just something to use as more evidence later on, if needs be. 

First online mafia game. So first time playing with rules like these, and multiple roles. I usually just play Mafia as a family game.

Seriously. I will not count votes that are either embedded in mid-sentence or between paragraphs. They must be at the bottom of the post.
