Sometimes one player just starts to dominate and for the one who's on the rough side it's usually very hard to pull back even. I think that happened on that third game (though it happens on nearly every game to a smaller extent).

EDIT: Oh and also, I'm now above 100 points, YEAHHHH! Quite the comeback for me having been on the bottom of the rankings not long ago.

Momentum is big, but one of the things I like about stock is that it's not over till it's over! It's like baseball, you can score 10 runs in one inning if you go on a roll. In Smash, you can take all 3 of your opponent's stocks with your last one if you get into the groove.
