King of Fighters XII looks miles ahead of Street Fighters IV. In fact, King of Fighters XII looks like it will be the best fighting game this year! I wish Capcom would have taken a silimar direction with Street fighters IV. Hopefuly, Capcom will release a true 2D DarkStallkers games with sprite-based visuals that compare to King of Fighters XII.

mmhh .. the last KoF game i really really liked was 98 :/ or maybe 2000, so that's like ... 8 years ago =D ( i still played all the others that came after those, just did'nt liked them )
On the other Hand ... i totally LOVE every street fighter out there ( with the obvious exceptions of the EX ones .. and the one from the movie =D ) so i think i'll give this one the benefit of the doubt before i give an opinion of wich one is better.

 I prefer Street Fighters over King of Fighters, too. But this time around King of Fighters is looking a lot better than Street Fighters. The charaters in Street Fighters IV don't look like themselfs anymore. It's as if Capcom completely changed the series. The gameplay also looks different. I like the classic 2D fighter element King of Fighters XII brings to the table.

Street Fighter's always been better, and 4 will be no exception despite the terrible art direction.

Visuals have always been were Street Fighters excels compared to King of Fighters. Nothing about Street Fighters gameplay is better than King of Fighters. Furthermore, King of Fighters has always had a better character roser, featuring far less clones than Street Fighters. I doubt that this game will be inferior to Street Fighters IV.
