Forums - Politics - BREAKING NEWS! UPDATE! US Airstrikes Under Way in Syria

I think this is all a sham, Saudi Arabia wanted to the US in Syria last year (even offered to pay the bill), didn't get their way, pouted like babies about it, funded ISIS under the table to create a "made for TV" threat, which then forced the US back into the region when the American public was sick of being over there.

Screw Saudi Arabia. The only reason we were 'allies' is because the Bush's were in bed with the House of Saud. Which all started under Raegan's puppet presidency; VP Bush Sr. and the CIA ran the White House.

Like almost all of the middle east the only thing of value they offer is fossil fuels; which will eventually run out. And when they do the first world will drop them like a sack of bricks.

And yet they played the US for a bunch of chumps ... yet again. ISIS is funded directly by them with the sole goal of getting the US to re-engage in the Middle East when the American public is sick and tired of it.

They didn't get their way last year when the US refused to go into Syria, so they decided to pout and cry about it and create a new "paper" threat in ISIS to force the US to do their bidding.

If ISIS was serious about taking over the Mid East they would do so quietly and under the radar, they wouldn't make ridiculous beheading videos to antagonize the West and have to get into a war with the most powerful military on the planet. It serves no purpose. They are basically "made for TV" villains created by the Saudis.

They own the military defense industry, which in turn owns the US government.

This is the most sensible comment I have ever read from you and I agree 100%.

Bomb the shit out of them!

US should also make sure that the new Syria government is pro-Western, so that Russia loses its only foothold in the Middle East.

Exactly what the Saudis wanted all along. Playing everyone, including the US, like puppets.

They fabricated this whole situation, isn't it awfully convinenant this new group magically got billions in funding overnight? Gee I wonder where all that money came from.

USA is the Israeli puppet 24/7 either way, so it can be a Saudi puppet every once in a while. Especially in a case such as this one, when setting things straight in Syria will give long term benefits - no matter what the American public thinks about it.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Good luck to all soldiers who participate, and may this hopefully end in something that will benefit all who are suffering that part of the world.

The Saudis chemical gassed a bunch of women/children last year trying to "shock" the West into going into Syria. Guess financing a bunch of retards and telling them to make a few beheading videos finally did the trick into scaring the West into re-engaging this new "threat".

Rip these guys some new assholes. We ain't fuckin' around, ISIS.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

Umm, the IS movement was a large part of the anti-government forces in Syria, bombing the IS forces is helping the Assad regime, not hurting them. Assad is from the Alawite religious sect that is aligned with the shi'ites, whereas ISIL (and the Saudi's) are Sunni, hence their hatred of Assad and the Syrian government.
