Forums - Gaming - Digital Foundry: Hands-on with the Forza Horizon 2 demo

Looks like a lot of fun. Definitely will be the first game I'll get once I get an XBox One.

Around the Network

will buy this game this afternoon

4 x MSAA. That's a great solution. Especially when 1080p in an.open world game. Thank god it's only an "arcade" racer. I'd hate anything less than 60 fps if it was a sim.

Good job turn 10 and playground.

To me 60fps seems more beneficial to arcade 'twitch' racers, wipeout, burnout, mk, f-zero x, NFS, those fast arcade racers can really use the double update speed. 30 fps is fine for driving around in a standard car in a sim. At top speed in NFS rivals, 30 fps starts to show.

Oh well, next gen we'll get all this gen's racers at 60fps. Kinda weird people insist on 60fps for an fps where your top speed is 20 kph, while 30 fps is fine for arcade racers where you go over 350 kph...
