I've got to say, I've never been less excited about a Final Fantasy in my life.

Nothing about an RPG following a Japanese boy band appeals to me. At all.

That looks so damn good. It's gonna be worth the wait.

Too bad "almost there" in this case probably means 2-3 more years of development.

Watch them rebrand this game as something else again and the actual FFXV ending up being a totally different game lol.

Like a better looking but worse-for-combat Xenoblade... I think. It's hard to judge how the combat even works.

Meh. This game could easily run on the Wii U.

The combat looked kind of awful in that trailer quite honestly. It looked awkward just to watch in parts. The open world and design of the creatures/environments looked really good though. If that design even sticks.

I doubt it's that at all. Design wise the game should be pretty much complete now (as should the story), so it's just a matter of building the assets and putting it all together. Nomura isn't really necessary for that, so it's best he concentrate his efforts on the game further back in development.

I have been so disappointed with the latest FF I will keep my hype in check.

looks exactly like Xenoblade to me
