Last time, Many people compared it to DMC ( sigh ), the battle was so fast it looked more of a hack & slash than an action RPG. The road trip thing is just a chapter after the main cast escape their homeland due to war, I thinks it is nice too. As for the combat, I think it just need some more polish, it seems satisfying for me.

IDK, the game's been in development for 8 years. He may not be finishing it as a director, but I'd imagine he's had quite enough input lol. This will help FF XV get out faster, and Nomura's still directing KH3.
The last PS3 trailer was closer to KH if anything. I remember Nomura saying they actually slowed down the speed for that trailer. But now it seems they've slowed down the game a lot since then to make it feel more realistic I guess, which I'm not so sure about.

The E3 demo had more uninterupted gameplay sections than this trailer and I'd say it seems pretty fast paced, I think it all just depends on what knd of weapon you use, some are slow and powerful, some are quick but weak.
