It just started today but VGChartz is causing Opera internet browser to lockup as it loads the front page.  I can access the site using IE but whats going on here?  I used to get all kinds of virus warnings when visiting this site, now Opera cant even load it ?!?!

it can....just restart ur computer and it should be fine - it happens to me too
or u can try Firefox

or ioi could fix/secure the site

I am on Firefox and it's working fine... I shall check IE but I can't check my Wiis opera at the moment.

Yeah my IE is fine too.... I'll check back later once I have tried Opera (not sure whether Wii opera is different to PC/Mac opera though)

Ok, there are no viruses currently. It was a thing that happened quite a while ago. Just go on like normal.

Opera isn't exactly mainstream, and not all sites support all various browsers. You can't expect ioi to cater to 5% of the market, when he has plenty of other things to attend to like the game database. On top of that, if he broke opera completely, then maybe soriku would do more than paste links to gonintendo.com every day.
