If Nintendo continues selling their handheld and home console products like they have since Super NES - Wii U, I predict the handheld Pokemon games will eventually have a decent 3D engine by next gen. The games will probably have spec like GameCube but look as good as Wii games on the screen of the next Nintendo Hand-held. Because of this, Gamefreak can simply make Pokemon Yellow, the first home console Pokemon RPG (not Colloseum or XD), with similar specs but optimised the game to look less stretched out and jaggy on our HDTVs. The specs of the Pokemon Yellow will be increased to Wii - Wii U but since the graphics will look comparable to the handheld Pokemon games of thattime, it maybe priced similarly.

Here's what Pokemon Yellow will have:

An improve Safari Zone: A safari zone that is offline and online.

Safari Zones will be in servers

When you go online, you can enter a server which has specific Pokemon. Its just like the different sections in past Safari zones. You can hop to different servers in one session.

Interacting with gamers online in real time:

Depending on the people you meet, different Pokemon will appear. Think of it like Friend Safari. You can also see other people moving around in the safari in real time. You can also move together as a group to find more Pokemon. You and your group members will encounter Pokemon together. The game will then assign the wild Pokemon only you can catch but you can also see what your group members found. Group number is unlimited but moving with a group is limited to five.

Other cool mechanics in Group system in Safari Zone:

This could also be the only way to frequently encounter hordes in Safari. You will also be able to throw balls even if more than one Pokemon appears, but you have to do complete simple and quick puzzles after you choose the Pokemon you wish to catch. Its first come first serve since you and your group members will be assigned the same 5 Pokemon to catch. If your group member completes the puzzle before you to throw the ball first, you're out of luck, if they catch it before you do! Puzzles is to blame yourself for not completing it fast and not online latency issue. Genius right?

Special Pokemon catching contests in Safari Zone :

There can also be an official Pokemon catching contests in Safari zone made by the developers or unofficial ones you create with your friends and other gamers world wide.

In the unofficial one, you specify which server it will be and which Pokemon types you need to capture. You can't choose a type or Pokemon that isn't native to that section though. But what if you choose a rare type or Pokemon? Not too worry, because these types/Pokemon will appear more often now and other Pokemon you normally don't see in the Safari may appear if has the same type as the other natives. You can let your friends participate in this contest or other gamers worldwide. Think of this like tournament rooms in Mario Kart 8 but catching contest in Pokemon instead lol. There will be a ranking system so people can see how great you are when they checkyour profile. You can also be in groups in these contests to have team competition.

In the offical catching contest, GameFreak can decide to put rare Pokemon, legendnaries, new Safari locations, and more in these Pokemon catching contests! After the catching contest ends in both official and unofficial, you can only select a few Pokemon that you've caught. You don't want to uproot the entire Safari environment do you?
