No one says sony gamers doesn't want Tv Tv TV Tv..... we just didn't want it to be the primary focus of the console. Difference here is that almost a year after the console released and they are still working stuff like this out on the other hand At the reveal of the XB1 over 70% of their showing was talking about Tv Tv Tv.

A Chrome TV or a Fire TV level of performance would be enought.

Microsoft talked about TV on the reveal because it was different and new, and they have E3 three weeks later to talk about games.  And let´s not be revisionist, but Sony also talked alot about TV on the PS4 reveal.

what this does show, is as a platform Playstation TV in name is not just to change the name of "vita" it really does mean that it also is a streaming cable TV box to boot! at such a entry price point as other top set TV streaming Boxes but with this deal, this move really does allow playstation as a platform to really go expand in entertainment for the living room more than just gaming only.

Not that Gaming; is not the priority, which it still is, but this is a pretty good Move on Sony's part to really expand playstation.

Holy fuck, enough with the Sony hates TV crap! Sony gamers don't hate TV, that's why Netflix is watched most on world wide Playstations! Sony gamers only criticize when you introduce a new "game" console on day 1, you show games and not just TV. Much like Sony did in Feb 2013.
