I agree,  Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was the last great game. Sonic the Hedgehog(PS3/360) was a bad game and Sonic &  the secrets rings was hmm so so...

I said it the moment i found out about the two you-know-whos, falco and wolfs final smashes, that if they had left it with 33 characters, the game would get a higher score because reviewers are idiots and only see what is rather than what it would have been without.. to me this game, pessimistically, has 30 unique characters.. thats way more than melee had (after subtracting clones), but unfortunately the reviewers will be looking at it not as "30 unique characters" but rather as "5 clones" which annoys the hell out of me

doesn't this site rate many wii games low?

i think the review was fair. most of the criticism was prefaced with "this is nitpicking". in there they called smash "the perfect formula" and had lots of other praise. the only real criticism was that they didn't like the control schemes of wiimote or wiimote + nunchuck (although the part they didn't like about wiimote + nunchuck was the d-pad not being great for smash attacks and i wish they would have said something about turning motion control on. i'm guessing they didn't release they could.)

all in all 9.3 is a good score. the criticism was fair. i approve.

Well they gave Galaxy a 97%, which is 0.1% below average........ so yes :P

but seriously.. no they don't

they rate many wii games averagely, in fact maybe we can draw from this that Smash will get around 93% average.. but that would be cherry picking wouldn't it :P

I'm betting Brawl will average out to around a 95. Having it beat SMG and OoT would be awesome, but I doubt it.

I'm predicting a less than 90% score from GR. American reviewers prefer American fighter, because they are narsissi, ehm, Nationalistics.

I'm so hyped for this game, when I saw the 93%-score news, I felt offended! Please Nintendo, bring this game to Europe soon!

btw, I never expected Brawl to do a perfect score everywhere, seeing how pessimistically Melee was received.

Umm, no one expected this game to finish at 100% alex. The score will inevitably be dragged down by fighting purists who can't stand the entire premise of the game, since it doesn't involve memorizing elaborate button sequences. As many others have predicted, expect the final average to be around 93%. And who really cares? Gaming journalism has so many problems, no one should take it very seriously.
