I've read that if you take pure duplicates out (so japanese vs European versions of the same cars) that have very few differences there are around 900 cars in GT6, and you have to remember there are almost 500 cars that are premium in GT6, of which there are very very few cars with similar modles.

Edit: sorry for double posting, can a mod please merge them?

Well to me a car that is off by one year but still in the same generation of model is still a duplicate so the actual number of different cars in GT6 is only arround 700.

I'd rather they shrink down the list to 100-200 cars that feels and handle differently. Then offer 1000 cars with different skin model. GRan Turismo put in a insane amount of work in there car model thought..... I think they must of lost money on GT6. That game should of been ported to PS4 and make the launch window or early 2014.

I highly doubt they lost any money on GT6 since for the most part its a carbon copy of GT6 with a few added tracks and 123 new cars but not all of those are completely new since some of them where just standard cars that got the upgrade to premium.  Also speaking of standard cars most them still look horrible.  PD is not going to break the bank for GT7 either since it will use the same engine as GT6 and still will have standard cars.

List looks great. Think there are still 10 or so missing for the Barn Finds that they didn't announce. I could be wrong though. I was definitely hoping for a last generation Celica but oh well.

Actually the barn finds are included in that list. If you like Celica than you should like the 1974 Toyota Celica GT the car is a beast in Forza 5 and should be very good in Horizon 2 also.

Really? Damn. I must have read something wrong. As for the Celica - I'm content with that and the '94 GT-Four.

Another car I'm looking forward to driving is the Lotus Exige S. Amazing handling.

Not a huge fan of Lotus but I do like the two open wheel Lotus cars in Forza 5 and I'm pretty close to having Lotus at max affinity.
