Okay, some basic analysis. I would agree with the assessment that there are two scum factions. Keeping in line with the proportion of scum-town that was used last game, I would say 6 from both factions (especially since there seem to be a fair few vanilla or near-vanilla townies, including whiteeagle and the deceased hylian and nickles, so relatively fewer scum to balance a weaker but numerous town)

So in my estimate, 5 scum remain, each from a different faction. 7 townies remain.

I know i'm town, and from my card and his claims and actions, i have 90% certainty that Whiteeagle is town (unless he's playing a vastly more sophisticated game than he was last time. No offense guy)

Impertinence, Theprof, and Trucks are NOT protoss, but that's the only guarantee there, since they voted out protoss and he wasn't even close to a majority so it's not like they threw votes on a sacrificial lamb.

Due to his failure to vote yesterday, padib is either the nuke *or* town, but the only possible scum role i'd say is nuke.

This is what i know so far. Now i shall crawl at my sluggish 10-posts-per-page. I'm at work, but it seems like i've nothing to do this afternoon save my receptionist duties, so a perfect opportunity to play catchup.

Updated analysis.

Theprof, impertinence, and Truckosaurus keep voting in a bloc, but they are definitely not Protoss, so they could be a Zerg force together, or simply are town with a similar train of thought.

At varying times, and despite the VERY apparent fact that winding down the clock is bad for town, radishhead and spurge have advocated for quick ends to the Day. These are my nuke/ghost candidates (i discovered that padib had voted, but later withdrew. I'm willing to see that as a technicality, unless he's a ghost with Tree Stump functionality and didn't want people to notice his vote wasn't going anywhere)

Of paramount suspicion right now are Carl and Sparks, who likewise seem aligned, and Carl was on Nicklesbe's ass all Day yesterday, while Sparks currently suffers a lot of well-founded suspicion.

To that end, i'm voting Carl2291 until further notice. May change to Sparks closer to day's end, but it is in town's interest to drag this out as long as possible. Anyone advocating otherwise should be treated with suspicion.

Vote Carl2291

I hadn't noticed the voting block, though I don't think too much of it. Though I also wouldn't say definite on them not beig Protoss doubtlful as a group but any ofthem individually could be.

where did spuge want the day over more quickly? radish I recall as well as whiteeagle

Carl could be scum and could be aligned with sparks, but carl put him at L1 so early that it leaves some room for doubt, but all the same was a rather scummy thing to do.

oh and Padib did have a vote yesterday that remained. He voted for bugrimmar

@ Khan

I have only seen tree stump once in the two years I have played, and that was because I begged for it.

But in the words of Padib... "This is a Wow game!"

Also, strange you would post this, but I am pretty sure that both scum and town should want the day to go as long as possible to stay clear of the nuker. Am I right?

True, but the important thing is that the person who doesn't want that, and says so (as you did at one point) is the nuker.

Some good analysis; looking at the voting block for example (though your reason; whilst sound, may not be 100% confirmed that they're not Protoss).

I'd like to ask about the bolded however. What do ou mean by that? Was your previous guy a cop?

I think whoever is the nuker, is an active player. One who tries to appear as scumless as possible.

or it could be a player with extra defence so he doesn't die in one night kill. and tries to play in the middle so scum don't kill him because they think he's potenially lynchable and town don't lynch him because he's said enough to seem town

My claim matches whiteeagle's claim. I didn't want to out it...
