and yes you brought up another reason why I believe Fam and MC more that I failed to mention. Japan is a smaller country, but it is not ethnically diversified at all, meaning the variance in taste is much less than NA(HUGE Variance). Like you said Japan is much easier to track. I have been doupting NDP numbers since they were royally off on the Wii in Dec. I give ioi slack when he is off, he has small sample, IT IS FREE, and he is willing to admit when he is wrong, when NDP is off- well, it is like anything else and I feel like they are charging alot of people for cr-appy numbers.

I'd guess because Media Create and Famitsu do their adjustments publically, though in an ass backwords way. If you notice, when one is higher then the other by a large amount, the next week is adjusted as they tend to be nearly the same way off, but in an opposite direction.

Probably because the fact that their is more then 1 tracker forces them to be more clear in their numbers.
