To be far Sony says very little about the last guardian.... I did and I don't see ms playing catch up but trying to keep pace. Sony has far more indie debs on board.. your grasping at straws.

This is mostly a vaporware list for PS4... Let's talk about now until January 1, 2015... What in that list will actually ship on the not-over-hyped PS4? Ahhhh... Right... I forgot... You want to talk about next year... Not this year.... Sorry, I don't talk about vaporware lists. |
Sorry, they aren't vaporware. You're just jealous that the PS4 has a lot more to offer to gamers than the X1. You're only seeing what you want to see.
Edit: Oops, I forgot to add Let It Die and Deep Down. That's two more games on that already massive list.

MS hasn't really done anything over the last few months, so what's your point? Sony talks about the present and future, not just the future. Just because Sony talks about the future doesn't mean they're only talking about the future. |
You have conveniently not addressed the two greatest games that have never shipped... Last Guardian and the Agent...
As for this year...
MS' entire E3 montage of indies was for 2014. Same with their Pax montage this week...
And Sony has nothing new for the rest of the year really... DriveClub while MS ships Forza Horizon 2, LBP3 while MS ships Project Spark...
I'll consider the Indies a wash... MS will either catchup or ship the same number of Indie games as Sony.
What's Sony's answer to Sunset Overdrive? Halo MCC?
As for the future MS has just as many games in the queue.

Please tag each game with an exact announced release date (not a timeframe) if they are not vaporware. Last Guardian was announced in 2009-ish. Where is it today? Same with The Agent...
Sony is notorious for announcing games years early... Killzone 2, Lair, God of War III, GT5, Last Guardian, Beyond, TLOU, The Agent.... Need I continue? All these games were announced for a specific year, then delayed to a future year...

The word vapourware doesn't apply to this list, since those are games in development and will release. But please, carry on (and please cut down the quote trees). |
"In development" is vaporware... In development means there still maybe many changes to the game.
"In final testing" with a specific "release date" is not vaporware.

Why should I mention The Last Guardian and Agent? There's no info so there's no point of me mentioning them. Meanwhile, you conveniently not addressed the 40+ games the PS4 will be having.
Sorry, but Sony has a lot more indie support than MS and that's not going to change. Whatever indie game that was only on Playstation finally released on Xbox, Sony will already have more indie devs supporting them. Also, why would Sony waste their load in the midst of a lot of huge multiplats? That's not a smart business decision. Destiny will give the PS4 a much larger boost thanks to the bundle and exclusive content. Driveclub trounces FH2 from the footage we've seen so far. No one really talks about Project Spark while LBP3 is a new iteration of a popular, well-established franchise.

Which Sony? Looks like you're talking about the Sony from almost 10 years ago. The current Sony is different so your argument is basically invalid. You only see what you want to see
Those crap indie games though.
Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out
Ps4:110million
Xbox one :75 million( was 65)
Wii u: 20 milliion

How is Call of Duty a response to Halo MCC when it ships on both platforms? Especially when MS gets the DLC first, so maybe it should be on the X1 list.
Guilty Gear.... MS also has Killer Instinct Season 2...
TLOU? What a game remastered after one year on the market? OK... (Don't get me wrong... This game rocks and is worth buying again [I bought it again in fact], but to consider it a holiday release is pretty bad...)
