The author of this article is most likely religious.

Can you please explain this post?

There was a forum topic recently that explained religious children had a harder time distinguishing fact from fiction and were more susceptible to delusion. The "author" acts like an immature child and obviously has trouble distinguishing fact from fiction and the reality of a situation and delusion. In short he accepts everything he reads from sources he believes in as fact and never bothers to fact check. Implying that his perspective of things is powered more by his deep faith in Nintendo while facts and evidence take a back seat. At least that's the read I got from it.

So you are saying that religious people can less likely distinguish fact from fiction? Do you realize how 1) unreasonable and 2) offensive that is?

It's a joke, for Pete's sake.

Let me get this straight.

I get moderated for calling people out in this thread for being agressive to OP with personal attacks, and you can just fly over the radar with a highly offensive remark because "it's a joke"?

You need to lighten up. I'm not making fun of you here. I'm making fun of that other thread. Because it is stupid. Derision. Is it an abstract concept to you? Now, notice how I said "for Pete's sake" instead of the usual something else most people say?

Do not talk about His name in vain and all that?

1+1. There you go. Have a good night.

If I read an article saying "Black people are less intelligent because X" and I came in another thread and said "The author is probably black", would you even twitch if you were a mod?

If you find something you don't agree, report it and let the moderators decide.

I'm not justifying it. For the record I think he was wrong for saying it. I thought you were confusded by it so I was simply explaining the context and nothing more. If I was a mod I wold probably give a warning about it, but that's not on topic. What he said doesn't matter. What matters are the facts. Yes he was wrong for joking and saying he was religious, but imo the author of the article is far more in the wrong for his childish behavior, inability to fact check, and trying to pass complete lies off as truth.

deceptive marketing again

How is it deceptive marketing?

Lol, that commenter posted this:

"- Uses VGChartz to track data"
And makes a point of saying, twice, that the data is not exact, but good enough to show rough calculations that show your claims of it being PS3+PS4 versus JUST WiiU are false.

"- has the audacity to tell me to research better when he uses a website that is WELL DOCUMENTED to be wrong on sales numbers"
Again, made a point of saying, twice, that the data is not exact, doesn't detract from you needing to do more research.

"- Ignores all the counter points"
Because your "counter points" consist of unfounded and one sided argument, I have clearly stated that all companies conduct PR spin, and yes this is indeed spin, but it's nowhere near the demonic and evil act you're painting it to be.

"- Blind and can't see the spin"
And yet I clearly state, "yes it's spin" and "Nintendo do it, Sony do it, Microsoft do it, every publisher does it, is it right?, not really"

"- Doesn't check source article to see why I reported it the way I did"
I checked the source article, and saw the large article header image which states the time periods - I also watched the conference live and listened to the presenter.

"- Runs away when asked to talk to me live man to man, but can through accusations wildly in comments section"
Because taking the convosation to private email where your self image is impacted less by your errors is a case of me running away and not you doing damage control, right?

Bold part being highly relivant to the result. Author deleted the above comment then banned the commenter.

What a shambles, that's another site added to my blacklist of sites to never visit, thanks OP!

But then, the author removed that comment and banned him. For no reason other than the fact he got schooled really bad and just couldn't take it.

That website is a cesspool. I almost felt compelled to join in the fun, but then I noticed how everyone there is all "Nintendo created the universe! Let's all sing Pokemon songs and eat Peach's cake together!", so I decided it was wiser to just drop it. xD

2014... you can listen the conference.

Read the article again maybe.

Also, they have to be careful. They are already being sued for deceptive marketing of Kilzone's resolution...

a. Read/listen to what they said again, maybe.

b. The person who sued them was an individual and we all know it's BS and is going nowhere. Basing an argument on a BS lawsuit is beyond silly. Everyone can sue everyone, especially in the States (watch some South Park, maybe). Also Ninty gets sued all the time; should we just ignore that or say "evil ninty should stop lying to people". There is no lying here, just typical PR.

I pretty much went through the same thought process, cesspool indeed.
Loved the part where hes like "you're riding sony", then "i didn't call you a fanboy, i said you were riding sony".

The heavy bias is so blatent and clear it's actually shocking.

Reading the crap that's there and drinking alcohol is about the same. In both cases you're losing braincells.
