Seriously what is with game devs trying to make the hero look like roided out football jocks. First it was gears of war, then Chris redfield, then cryses 2. I just don't get it, is it just me or does it come off as really unrealistic. The paraphrase fight club "So that is what a man is suppose to look like"

At least the dudes of Gears of War were on steroids already. Chris, for some reason, got addicted after Veronica X (or Revelations, but even then he had already gained build) xD

But I guess you can't punch boulders being all skinny!

Not according to like 90% of animes, but I see your point none the less.

I think it's unfair to compare Chris Redfield to Marcus Fenix. Yes, Chris got bigger between Code Veronica and RE5 but it's nothing unbelievable and he doesn't look like a bull unlike Marcus Fenix.

That's a fair point. Tho in some images they look the same in the head. Body wise tho Chris use to look like a cop/special agent, now he looks like a marine that spent more time training/in the gym. He has beefed up a lot tho.
