Actually, this really sucks. This is gonna mess with the first week sales of the game, since not every store will have it. This is the same crap that happened to uncharted and gave it an ugly first week.

No, it's not available for sale at Wal~Mart.. They HAVE received their shipment, but the registers won't allow sales of it until the 9th. Other stores may or may not have their systems designed to lock out the sales, so I can't say weather or not it's happened.

Nintendo probably won't be too happy with those stores that ARE breaking the street date and those stores could face fines for breach of contract for doing so.

First picture is a display case just like the one my store has, though it might be filled up with copies of Brawl once it is released instead of empty boxes with cover art on them. My store is officially getting the stock in on the 4th of March, but can't sell until the 9th of course.

If I saw that at the store, I would buy every copy and sell them on ebay for double the price.
