They will try, but the way they re getting dominated it will cost them way to much to buy exclusivity. I think they might have something else up their sleves aside from tomb raider, but no more than one more game time exclusive, never complete exclusive.

But if one of these works then maybe they will be able to secure some full exclusives.

Unless its a way massive check, I dont see the devs or publishers taking such a risk.

Beginning to think MSFT made a mistake in dropping the price. It didn't benefit them at all, and with it selling similar numbers, it's a direct revenue and possibly profit cut on each unit sold.

So for every Xbox One unit Microsoft sells, they loose money per unit sold. But Microsoft is selling less units so they must not be loosing as much money. Investors must be happy about this news.

I'm 36, guess I'm too mature now to be bothered by childish rants by immature people that dare to call them selves "gamers", it does not bother me that one system sells better than another, i just want a cool game to play regardless of format, congrats to Sony on what must be a landmark achievement and Microsoft/Nintendo for sticking in there, without these three what would "gaming" be like with no competition!

Septembers PS+ line up is a plie of steaming shit, and frankly PS+ has been shockingly bad for at least a good 4-5 months now.

Theres not even ONE must have game coming for the rest of 2014.

On top of that, everyone knows that a shit tonne of their "2015" games will get pushed back to 2016. (same shit happened on ps3, that machine had fuck all in terms of real quality games until "the delayed" MGS4 hit)

That god damn console is selling on hype alone, and that just does not sit well with me, PATHETIC.

Lucky bastards either stayed quiet (DRM) or said the right thing at the right time, and the vast majority lapped it up and bought it hook, line and sinker.

Hell, i'll even go as far as to say that "gamers" are PISSING ME OFF right now.

Those sony motherfuckers are coasting along without a care in the world, (hey, why try hard when people are buying your console regardless of how little you try) and that ANGERS me.

edit: just play the games, in the end the thing is about you and the console that you like, and not about "this deserves to win the war because they have better product and better gamezzz"...

edit: on topic... do the guys on VGchartz found the source of sales that were missing? they are much closer to the 10 + million that Sony said, I believe the difference between the numbers (VGC vs Sony oficial) should now be no more than 300,000-400,000 ... I have read the reasons for the lack of correction, the issue of having to know where these consoles were sold, and found fair, correct numbers only when they knew where that consoles had come ...
