Hello folks!

Today seemed to align perfectly in favor of Mario Kart 8 with the DLC packs, and now me getting the go-ahead to hold a LIVE tournament at the Tech Museum!  The details are forthcoming, as we're planning the prizes and their values out at the moment, as well as the sign-up methods, etc...  But here's a link to the event page!  If you're in the area, and you want to bring your Mario Kart 8 skills, you might walk away with a decent gift card *hint hint* (we're currently looking at a 1st place prize value around $50, but that's not confirmed!)

nice. how many players were there 32? as mentioned in the site? or there are more since it has prelims.

Nah, we ended up with 12 people, haha  I wanted a minimum of 16, and a max of 32!

Though, the 12 people were all pretty hardcore serious, and the tournament still took an hour and 15 min, so had I had 32 people, I don't think 3 hours would have been enough @_@
