I think a Nintendo dev (possibly Miyamoto, but can't remember) put it pretty nicely when he said something to the effect of: "We almost never listen to our fans while our games are in production. We listen to them when the games are ready, and they've played them."

This guy's complaints are legitimate, although he should really know better than to get trolled up on the internets. Especially when he's not posting anonymously. =P

The developer was a little pissed off, sure. However, I would consider that understandable because it was in the 'Ask the Developer' thread and was clearly more of a trollish post after actually following the link in the OP and reading the post the developer is responding to.

I think it would be wise to also put the user's post to which the developer was responding to in the OP to help clarify the matter a little bit better for people who only read the first (and the next couple of) posts.  

So does this mean 8 days is real and not rumor?

The Internet is full of people who have passion but no knowledge.

One thing though does appear to be fact - the game has been in development for three years. (Three years from being able to talk about it at shows). Is this true? If so, it better look really good and (more importantly) play really good when it is released.

Responding to a troll post when your the developer of a PS3 game under your real name. If that's not losing your cool, I dunno what is, imo. I don't care how thought out the post was.

Has anyone gone through some the pages on that board to see what he reveals about kz2? I know i have. I really hope the best for this game. I feel bad for the guys at gg because with kz1 the media compared it to halo and now with kz2 they have to live up to the 05 trailer.

One thing i found interesting was one of the questions were "Are there aliens in kz universe?", the developer replies "no comment." I realize this means nothing but he could have flat out said no.  

I've been keeping up with it for months now, and I don't even like shooters! I'm a sucker for hype, lol.

And it has been confirmed that the Helghast are "not alone" on Helghan. But that's all we know right now.

Nice. I hope this turns out good. I think alot of people want to see it fail though.
