Forums - Nintendo - If Nintendo Headquarters were moved to Seattle, could Reggie do a better job in Iwata's position?

I do not think so. Americans think that Nintendo should emulate MS and Sony, do bro-shooters and try to have muscle-car hardware. Imitation does not mean profit.
Nintendo should go for more Amiibo strategies, some sure shots that ensure good profit and keep the company´s foot at the consumer´s door.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Sadly doing so would probably increase Nintendo sales, but I dont want them to.

I know Nintendo said they dont like competiting but I strongly beleive they must create a few IPs that rival the Halo/Killzone and Uncharted franchises just to get some attention back.

Definitely though Nintendo need to acquire some more western developers.

It's not just about games or hardware, it's about how you engage your loyal customers.

When I see Reggie in a direct, I smile. I'm in for a fun, well-delivered presentation.
When I see Iwata in a direct, I cringe. This is going to take awhlie. I do like seeing him, but not for half a direct.
The directs this year have been more fun to watch.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

I don't know why Iwata seems to forget that you need games when you have a new console. There has been a surprising lack of Nintendo games since 2011, like they just got lazy or something. The third party support is clearly not there, yet there are severe droughts of no games. Also Nintendo and Iwata in particular never listen to their fans. There is demand from several dormant IP's and people that want older/unreleased games to come here, but they never seem to appease their fans. Finally, there seems to be a lack of new IP's in Nintendo and other companies. Give me the old days where new franchises were being born everyday.
