Forums - Gaming - Who else is this anal about their controllers?

I only clean mine if someone plays after eating some greasy food without washing their hands.

I also clean my controllers after others use them. Because I have no idea where there hands have been and they are eating chips or whatever while gaming.

When I each shit then I usually wash my hands before I touch my controller etc, I do not clean then when I am the only one using them because even after years there is not dirt since I wash my hands before I play games.'

btw  buying a preowned controller is like the most disgusting thing I ever paid money for. All the crap that was in the "gaps".

Haha I have 2 kids, 3 and 5. It's a miracle you can still see anything at all on the gamepad. At least they're past the stage of sticking the wii mote in their mouths and chewing on the ps move ball.

I sometimes wipe them down, and the GamePad's screen I wipe often, usually daily (if I use it). Other than that, not much. It's a good thing my Wii U, its GamePad and Pro Controller are all white, so it's very smudge- and fingerprint-proof.

I knew a girl who was very anal about her Wii controller. Cleaned it almost every day.

I didn't think I'd get 3 pages of responses on this, so I can't exactly respond to everyone... but...

Cleaned my controllers again, couldn't help myself

I even blow off any specs of dust I see everytime I pick up my Gamepad, like religiously. It's almost as bad as having to blow the dust off the goldfingers in a NES cartridge...

this is 3 pages to you?  You should really adjust your settings so that you view more posts per page.  Do at least 25 per page.  Mine is set at 50, makes browsing threads much easier

As far as cleaning controllers though... I literally have never cleaned one of my controllers my entire life... so I guess I can't relate to you at all on that subject...

I just threw up in my mouth at the thought of using one of your controllers... hahaha

And I didn't know I could change that post-per-page setting o.O  I'll go have a look, lmao

I clean my controllers once in awhile, but for the most part, I really don't care as long as it works.
