Forums - PC - I like what Capcom's been doing on PC

It's refreshing seeing a japanese developer doing a good job of supporting PC

bringing their games over, having official presence on Steam forums to give pre-release information

but not just that, they still keep their official posters long after the games are released to answer people's questions and solve their problems

i remember having issues with one thing in RE6, this was about ~6 months after release and got a fairly prompt response that solved the issue not just for me but everyone else who had it

now with Dead Rising 3 they are also doing a good job and being transparent

streamed PC footage and even uploaded uncompressed videos of it so that we could make sure of its resolution and framerate with our own eyes

informative FAQ on Steam forums http://steamcommunity.com/app/265550/discussions/0/522729901197463521/

extensive graphical options and keybinding configuration, plenty of localization options

There's still some hit and miss things (RE Rev had mouse acceleration but you could disable, RE6 had mouse acceleration that couldn't be disabled, and DR3's system requirements raise some concerns over the port's optimization) but i'd say they're doing better than most japanese publishers

I wonder how the PC version of MGS5 will turn out.

Around the Network

Shame they are dying and be bought out ect in a few years.

But why the fuck aren't they releasing Dragons Dogma and Deep Down on PC? I mean seriously an open world RPG and a rogue-lite dungeon crawler are the two games you chose to not release on PC? WTF, both those genres are super popular on PC.
