I gave it a 7. The review itself isn't that badly written. What makes it bad is judging about certain things that cannot possibly be judged by the little material we've seen so far. But that didn't go into my score.

Its sad that you cannot see from his wordings that he has not played the game at all. If you really read his article, he is just hating on SCE and their games, and is comparing this to Gears even though it is vastly different in terms of gameplay, atmmosphere and narrative, from what we've seen so far.

I've actually just recognized, in those 2 lines you obviously didn't read, that he can't judge a game by only having so little material to go on.

All he does is look a bit into the future with a pessimistic view. If you go only by the things we've seen so far the game is boring as fuck. The comparison with Gears is in the right place as both rely heavily on cover based shooting.

He praises the good stuff, graphics and setting, and then slams the bad stuff, repetitive gameplay.

The only thing he does wrong is applying the little info we have to the whole game which could be a lot better than what we've seen so far.



If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
