Reading these comments makes me depressed with our world. Seriously what the fuck is wrong with half of you. How can you defend her. This is not about womans rights or mens rights, this about a human being having sex with people in their industry.

It doesn't matter if her intention was for personal gain, business gain or just for sexual gratification. It is wrong. She should not be having sex with people who she deals directly in business with, and they should not be having sex with her. IF they want to have sex they need to disclose it and refuse to review each other games or whatever their business releationship is.

You guys saying that why can't she have sex with people, its just sex. Tell that to the fucking people who made it wrong to play fucking golf with a client anymore. If you can't buy someone dinner or play fucking golf because its considered unethical, how in the hell can you think that sex woudl be OK.

End of story. Due to them hidden the sex, it doesn't matter if the sex didn't affect the judgement at all of the articles/reviews ect. All 6 of these people should be in big trouble. They should have disclosed their relationship and thus stopped all direct business with each other.

Fuck womans or mans right, this has nothing to do with it. It's about business. Plain and simple.

The only reason woman/man is being brought up is because of the horrible media we have in this day and age and how they hide certain things and blow others out of proportion. People are upset that this is being thrown under the rug because a female is involved (not what she did) versus when a male is involved its on the 6 o'clock news.

It's the same for race issues. White people don't give a shit whether some white guy is slandered to hell and back for whatever he did, they just want the same treatment for all the other races.

Yeah the gaming subs on reddit are in meltdown.

And the reason that this is getting played down and attempted to be covered up is because it involves a woman. She will be the victim in all this by tomorrow guranteed

It's really disheartening to see someone get away with something as horrible as this simply because she can say she has depression and twitter is giving her PTSD. She'll become a martyr like Anita Sarkeesian.

So the above guy make a public statement I presume, that was inapropriate -  I can see a problem here.

The girl slept quite unpublickly with people, for whatever reason, all quite personal to her - I don't see a problem here. Sleeping with bosses is not a safe for the company, but it is still personal right?

So what if one of her lovers was a press guy? Her personal life, I don't fucking care.

There's really a "shitstorm" about this? wtf?

Ok, the sex for hits is a problem.
The having sex with multiple people? Not a problem.

Using sex to move up the ladder is nothing new. Move on people and deal with it. That's how I got my job at the office.

I have to ask, you got your job at the office by moving on and dealing with stuff, or by having sex to move up the ladder?

The wording in my statement is weird I admit that.

Maybe it would be easier if it was like this:

Using sex to move up the ladder is nothing new.

Move on people and deal with it, that's how I got my job at the office.

Or you could also say:

Move on people and deal with it.

Using sex to move up the ladder is nothing new, that's how I got my job at the office.

The two of them ar valid, choose the one you like the most.

Um, but those two statements have two different meanings. Statement 1 means you got your job by dealing with it, while statement 2 means you got your job by having sex to movw up the ladder. Which one is correct?

She should not be having sex with people who she deals directly in business with

Why? Because she's "getting ahead unfairly"?

they should not be having sex with her

Absolutely. Her boss should not employ someone he is fucking. His responsibility is to employ people qualified for the job. The journalist should not be fucking her because it might compromise his judgement as a journalist. It's their responsibility to do their job. As far as I know, there's no risk of her mishandling her job making "video games" from her fucking them so it's not all that clear why she has a professional responsibility not to.

Reading the blog of her ex she comes across as a pretty shitty girlfriend, but that's irrelevant. I really don't see how people (alledgedly) mishandling their job responsibilities in the hope of having sex is anyone elses fault but their own.

let 4chan deal with this bitch....

yeah buddy i agree because she's a woman so she's absolved of all responsibility with regards to her actions so therefore its automatically only the fault of the men involved...

Putting all the blame on her and absolving the men involved of all responsibility is better how? Also responsibility is not the issue, both the men and woman hold equally responsibility for it. Something many here ignore for a chance to bash her. The point is, there is no proof, this is not the place to discuss it as it has nothing to with gaming until it is actually proved. Until then it's none of our business what any of those people do in private.

Actually, I disagree here (Provided the allegations are true, of course).  While, from the perspective of someone who has been a boyfriend, I find the concept of my GF sleeping with 5 people while we're together (no matter the reason) abhorrent, and she wouldn't be my GF for very long; but who this woman sleeps with isn't my (as in, not her boyfriend/boss/co-worker) problem (her boss/company and boyfriend, certainly have a right to be concerned or upset).

The real issue here is the journalists, whom I hold to a higher standard than most other professions.  If a journalist sold their integrity down the river for a piece of ass, that's the kind of ethical breach that you simply cannot overlook as a reader.  We place our trust in them, to provide us untainted/influenced/biased news, and (again, if true), this would be yet another example of a journalist we're supposed to trust selling out.   It's hard to believe that if they could be so easily swayed by sex, a bag of cash or some other such favor wouldn't be able to do the same.
