I think you misread the point of my post. I am saying that Sony is quite certain that the 10 million figure is accurate and thats why they have announced it.
It is an advertisement as sony is publishing a figure with an itent to induce customers to buy their product. Litigation can go either way so sony (or no corporation) would not take such unnessecary risks unless they were sure. Therefore i am inclinied to belived that sony figures are more accurate in the present case.
