I think you misread the point of my post. I am saying that Sony is quite certain that the 10 million figure is accurate and thats why they have announced it.

It is an advertisement as sony is publishing a figure with an itent to induce customers to buy their product. Litigation can go either way so sony (or no corporation) would not take such unnessecary risks unless they were sure. Therefore i am inclinied to belived that sony figures are more accurate in the present case.

That is the very point people are making in this very thread, he is Questioning Sony's claim on the number's .

Its very clear, is if Vgchartz cannot track it there is no way Sony can do it faster than Vgchartz.

I mean it seems he was Quick to add anther 100,000 to each total now. But would not take Sony's word put right.

Which is his right, that does not mean people are going to view his sites numbers in the same way as before now.

I don't remember to see Sony lying about numbers. There's a huge difference between don't be clear about numbers like during the Ps3 gen and lying. I guess that you have a source for a such accusation. 

AGAIN its very clear many even the owner of the site is doubting, Sony's numbers, again people can claim ,well Sony's numbers fly in the face of all 3rd party tracking services, but yet that Argument only apply to Vgchartz, because none of the other services are claiming world wide only region by region. Thus many are out right  saying Sony's numbers are in Question, but that Nintendo's or Microsoft would not get this scrutiny.

What this seems more about is keeping the appearance of the gap not really growing as fast between Microsoft and Sony's system in order to bolster perceptions about the sales disparities between both companies.

Vgchartz is totally inaccurate and not updating this numbers is just another thing that will make this site prediction banned all over the Internet. I hope they manage to fix their numbers cause it's ridiculous that they think sony could lie about numbers when this numbers are mostly for investors.

During the PS3 era they did misslead with shipped and sold, I remember them even saying sold to customers once before, and it was later revealed to be to retailers which they then claimed to be their "customers", they are trying so hard to explain themselves because they know that they lied in the past

Thanks for the links but I don't see nothing about Sony lying about their sales. BS about graphics and resolutions a lot of compagnies like Ubisoft, Microsoft,EA have done that. However it's not the same thing that lying about official numbers if it was so easy Microsoft wouldn't be stuck when they have to talk about Xone sales.
