Because the Madden time trial is only 6 hours long? If it were on PS+, wouldn't it only be one hour long?

PS+ is not 1 hour long. It's for as long as your sub goes. So for a LONG time. Try harder next time.

Yikes, friend. You went HAM on defense mode and completely misread what was said. I'm not talking about the PS+ downloadable games you get every month. I'm talking about the PS+ exclusive timed trials of other games. They are limited to one hour each.

So for you to say "LOL U GO SONY THIS SERVICE SUX" makes no sense, as Sonys very own service only offers 1 hour of trial time.

You still don't understand it seems. The one defensive here is you, seeing as you are trying to steer the discussion away from this news. PS+ offers much more than that and that's why the comparison fails miserably.

PS+ game trials are the full game, just like here, except only 1-hour as opposed to 6.

There is nothing wrong with this early trial.

Also yes, overall the two services are not equal, but the main topic here in the trials, which judging by the headline of this thread is supposed to be a bad thing, when in reality it is quite generous compared to what other services like this offer.

Oh please, man. You're the guy who brought Sony into this discussion as a means to shit on this service. Here, since you seem to have forgotten, let me quote it to remind you:

Please continue though, it's obvious you put your foot in your mouth and I enjoy a good backpedaling.

I think the main issue though is that "Early Access" had people believing that by being a EA Early Access member you could buy a game like Madden 15 and get your digital copy 5 days before everyone else and not just get a timed trial.

Well, there goes one part of my defense of EA Access. As I recall from previous years, Early Access (then called Season Ticket) would allow you unlimited playing time, albeit locked into only one or two single player modes.
But still, was a better deal than this.

6 hours might seem long, but it still is a decrease from before.

Don't go insulting me now, it reflects poorly on you and your arguments. Sony has refused to make this service available on their platfrom which is why it's being brought up. PS+ has nothing to do with this, but you knew that. Now are you going to keep ingnoring my questions?

lol what questions?

Sorry, still laughing at the idea of you bringing Sony into this discussion and then complaining when I talk about them.

The diff is this gives u access to the whole game so there needs to a time limit or there's no reason to buy the game.

That would have been pretty cool if they did it like that, hopefully they still will though.

They should have done something like that. Would be an easy way to sell subs.

You talked about PS+ not Sony's stance on this service. Hence you're off topic.
