It's a joke is all. They never really were doomed but a lot of users here made a big thing out of it a few months ago after Amy H left and then a few others did as well.

Yeah, I pulled a stunt like that a few years back and returned to my old employers in a lesser role. He will soon be back where he was.
He was obviously moneyhatted by Sony.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
