The expnsions release at the same time, but some content is locked away on the xbox version for a while. However, the vast majority of the content is available at the same time.

Some pidly cosmetic stuff will be timed exclusive to Sony platforms for each expansion for 1 year, but all Destiny platforms will be getting the same actual DLC content that people pay for. The same as it is for the full retail game.

Thats PR speak they are both raids just different player count / difficulty but play very similar

This is false.
Thank god for that, the base game was getting boring.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Raids wont have matchmaking like strikes though... Much harder, better loot. More of an end game activity vs strikes.
