Forums - Gaming - Watchdogs PS3 outselling Watchdogs Xbox one

Hmm, interesting. Xbone version should leg out better you would think (PS3 version is cheaper right now I would guess whereas I assume the XB1 version is still more expensive) but it certainly doesn't look very good.

I wonder how much this is down to the adverts only mentioning Sony platforms, and whether things will be closer between PS4 and XB1 when MS secure similar deals or exclusive DLC (COD and Witcher 3 for example)

I'm sure COD and BF will sell more on Xbone (given traditional fans and exclusivity deals continuing) but Witcher is a Wild Card and exclusive cards in a CE that few will buy (it's $150) isn't going to motivate many to buy it.  I'm guessing at least 95% of sales will be the regular edition anyway.  Don't forget it's not just Destiny and Watch Dogs.  Sony will advertise the heck out of the FC4 co-op keys.  They can easily say in a commercial "invite freinds to your game even if they don't own it. only on Playstation" at the end of an ad along with not showing the Xbone and the sales will be AT LEAST as disparit as Watch Dogs.

Digital sales aren't included, which are bound to be pretty high on Xbone. I know I (unfortunately) bought it digitally.

Also the PS3 version had the same content and marketing deal PS4 had. With that and the userbase, not surprising its selling well. I know a few Xbone owners who passed on it solely due to the moneyhat content.

Game sucks anyway. Yuck. I wonder if Ass Creed 4 is any better.

is it really bad or just not $60 good?  I was thinking of looking for a $25 deal or lower on Black friday (PS4 version already down to $35 on Amazon).

I highly doubt that. PS4 has double the userbase. Both the previous CoD and previous BF sold more on PS4 than XB1 and that was when the userbases were more even.

Didn't COD catch up now?

EDIT nvm I'm thinking of weekly sales I think

The XBone version is slighty ahead in the US. Globally it's a different story (including weekly sales)

ah ok I wasn't really checking just going off the top of my head (yeah I'm being lazy lol).  Very well and I guess there is no BF this year at the hoildays which is kinda weird (wish COD would get delayed one year and give some other games a chance to shine)

Xbox gamers are clever. They didn't buy into the hype.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Almost 6 million now, I wonder if this was profitable... I have the PS4 version, it is a decent game...

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

I think that even the XBOX 360 version will sell more lifetime.

The conclusion? On average, Xbox gamers have a higher IQ than PS gamers.
