I can turn on my wii u and play Mario without even touching the gamepad now ( i use the pro controller for mk8). Before I'd have to get my gamepad turn it on change control to my pro controller then i could use it. Only update i really want from Nintendo is linking digital purchases to my account rather than my hardware. Games wise the wii u is great but its begging for rpgs as it lacks there heavily. |
That was never the case :S
Since release it's possible to start/play the game with the pro controller only, no need for the Gamepad.
The RPG-point i totally agree to, i mean Xenoblade Chronicles X is on the horizon, but besides that we only got good VC-rpgs so far.. Hope there's coming more!

Ehh I really wouldnt call it a comeback, its not like Wii U went from selling horrible to selling great, more like it went from selling horrible to simply selling poorly.
Wii U has for sure shoen improvement but thats to be excepted since Wii U now has a much larger library of big Nintendo games and much better bundles.
At this point last year Wii U major releases were NSMBU, Nintendo Land, ZombiU, Lego City and was 8gb w/no game-$299, 32gb w/Nintendo Land-$349. Now Wii U has those previously mentioned games plus Pikmin, Luigi U, Wind Waker, Wii Party/Fit/Sports, Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong, Mario Kart and is $299 for Mario/Luigi bundle and $329 for Mario Kart bundle.
If Wii U wasnt selling better this year then that would be really depressing. Sales are better this year and I hope it continues to improve but its far from a comeback, Wii U is still likely to sell less than Gamecube.

I think now I understand how Nintendo fans must've felt last gen when they saw PS and Xbox fans arguing about who would win among the 2 of them. Keep arguing over those small numbers. :P
With all those exclusives coming this year, I have no doubt it will do great.
It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

Wii U will end up outselling Xbone. It may not even reach 20 million, but Xbone might be even worse than that, at the rate it's going. All it really has going is the US, and gaming seems to be shrinking here, following in Japan's footsteps. Even the PS4, which is seemingly running away with it, will only end up with a moddest amount sold for a console winner. It's just a down generation overall, thanks to the economy, increasing disintrest, stale games/lack of new concepts, etc. I think what we'll end up seeing is something like:
PS4: 80 million
Wii U: 22 million
Xbone: 20 million
