Well, they won't announce it on a XBOX event...

The Nuketown 2025 had some issues on Wii U and Treyarch fixed it. The team doesn't seem to be dissolved yet.

What speaks against a Wii U version is that he said at the event that the day zero edition with bonuses will be available for all platforms where AW gets released. The Wii U version wouldn't get something like that...
