Anyone who does want them bankrupt is a dumbass. Nintendo revived gaming in North America. The Playstation or Xbox wouldn't exist if Nintendo didn't release a console. Especially Playstation because the reason they made the console was to get back at Nintendo.


No, they were going to enter the market with or without nintendo.

I'm glad the partnership never worked out otherwise we would never hear the end of how playstation only exists because of nintendo.

well its true it is mostly because of Nintendo. Nintendo asked sony to help them on the Playstation and then  Nintendo back stabbed Sony and Sony went to go make a console on their own. They weren't intrested on entering the market until Nintendo asked them to help. I'm not making this up this is fact.


Even assuming thats 100% true and there is no other possibility, then nintendo's mistake still doesnt make them responsible for the success of the playstation.

Nintendo is doing a lot of bad things:

-Rehashing franchises, especially New Super Mario Bros.
-High prices in eshop and in virtual console (also in retail too).
-Bad membership program which is only available in a few countries.
-Bad OS (both 3ds and wii u) with little to none good features.
-Bad main control in Wii U (tablet control? what a joke!)
-Bad relationship with the third parties.
-Don't listen their fans.

But I not wish the bankrupt of Nintendo. Monopoly is bad for the market.
