Why does it seem that ps3/4 gamers are more impressed with sunset overdrive than people who actually own an xbox one?

Well, it looks insanely fun! Of course, it's an Insomniac action game ;)

Perhaps I pick up the Sunset-Overdrive-bundle with the white XBO and complete my set of 8th generation hardware.

sqaure enix's ability to fuck its self up its own ass never ceases to amaze me.

the show was alright, could have been better, but could have been a lot worse. sony, your turn now!

I get you may be disappointed by TM going exclusive.

But honestly, considering this was Gamescom, how could it have been better? They showed a half dozen AAA games that were all impressive, a strong stable of Indies, timed exclusives and exclusive content for a range of high profile titles, announced a series of great bundles, and stole a massively important third party exclusive.

I am not having a go, really - but I am genuinely curious as to what you honestly expected MS could do, beyond that. That goes equally for others calling this an average conference. Its Gamescom, this annihilated expectations.

Massively important?  The last game moved less than 2 million units across the 360/One (1.88m)...how is that massively important?  Don't get me wrong, it sounds like MS had a good show...but I think you're massively overstating Tomb Raider's importance.

Yeah, that and 2 bucks will buy you a cup of coffee.  Nerds raging over something does not equal sales.

It's a semi-large announcement, I just don't see how it's good for S-E.

Its a good way for them too lose their fanbase they are slowly losing anyway to games like uncharted 4

Yeah, it's very odd.  Oh well, I honestly hope XB1 gamer's pick this game up en-masse.  Other than TR3 (aweful), I've liked the franchise and hope it doesn't tank.

But unless something major happens, it is gonna tank.

Assuming this is out before halo 5, microsoft still have a huge gap between ps4 and xb1, this year it is only gonna get bigger.

It seems each of these TP exclusives have some sort of contract statement "If game doesnt reach expectations per sales, we can bring to PC"

If SE expected tomb raider 2013 to sell like 6 million, imagine their expectations for this, and when it doesnt reach, well hello pc.
