But there will be no point in owning an X1 if this keeps happening. 

It's a pity because both of those games really help differentiate the X1 from its competitors. To lose exclusivity of those games to PC doesn't help X1's cause. If consumers start not buying the X1's exclusives because they'll eventually be out on PC, then the system is in deep trouble.

Maybe people like owning a console and don't want  a powerful pc? Or maybe the like xbox live? I'm sure there are plenty of reasons. 

TW3 will be stunning to be sure but it's a massive open world with a lot of dynamic stuff going on and hundreds of NPCs. Add in developing for three platforms and there are a lot of reasons why it probably won't look better than a linear action game from Crytek.

People with weak PC's don't get too excited. I have a feeling its going to be a rig pushing game.

MS have really shot themselves in the foot with this stuff... If there was a chance of it coming to PC, they should have been open about it from the start. All this accomplishes is getting people to doubt the legitimacy of every non-1st party exclusive. There is a reason the MCC rumor spread so fast, despite it making no sense. This just adds more fuel to the fire.

Ah well, i can't complain. I'll probably buy it in a Steam sale at some point for the eye candy

Well you will get the games before they arrive on PC so there's that. And there will always be some that will remain exclusive
