Forums - Gaming - Report: PS4 Germany Sales Now at 540,000 From Launch to June

"Sony seems to be leading the current-gen console race and it doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon.

Over on German site Boerse Online, it states that data from research firm Gfk indicates that the PS4 has sold over 540,000 PS4 units from release up to June this year. Also in the report, it mentions that in the same comparable period, Microsoft's Xbox One only managed 170,000 units sold, which is about 1/3 of the total PS4 sales.

Unless something drastic happens, it looks like Sony will dominate Germany. Keep in mind this isn't just happening with hardware, either. In our post yesterday, Konami revealed that sales of Metal Gear Solid: V Ground Zeroes on PS4 tripled those of the Xbox One."

The week ending May 31st 2014 VG Chartz has PS4 at 437,000 and XBone at 182,000

Transfer to Sale topic would be great.

We all know PS4 is being undertracked by quite a bit in Europe, but good to have some numbers to see really how much. But XBO is overtracked too? This I didn't knew...

The X1 being over tracked and the Ps4 under tracked has been going on for a long time on here. I used to defend this site, but this last year has made it clear that's just not possible. I don't think the X1 is close to 5 million yet and the PS4 likely passed 9 million a while ago

Seeing the state of all individual countries in Europe and over the world it probably is possible that the PS4 is undertracked by a couple of hundred thousand units. It might already be at 9.5 million which seems that the 10 million shipped announcement might happen next week during Gamescom. Wow!
