Forums - Sony - Does anyone really use remote play?

As a PS4 and Vita owner I can say I only used remote play once. It was with Assassin's Creed IV and it felt weird. Feels more natural with the Wii U (then again then again it was built around that). I just feel it's a nice bonus for those who own both the console and the handheld.

Maybe i'm wrong and everyone loves it. Thought?

Tried it once when setting it up, never went back to it again. And even then I just used it to navigate the UI. I have no need for it, I just play my PS4 games on my PS4.

It just seems like they invented Remote Play so they can use it as an excuse for not making Vita games.

I only play don't starve via remote play... But some games are "hard" to play due to the alternate button scheme.
The indies are the ones best suited for this feature imo...
Would love if sony would release a remote play DS4... Or a app for my Xperia z2 tablet with ds3 support.

I love it on my Wii U. it is so awsome play before bed at night. I intended to get a Vita and PS4 because l love the Wii U so much.

Like I said. It's better on the Wii U because it was built around that feature. I play almost all my games exclusively on the gamepad. Though I guess Vita remote play isn't 'terrible'.

Better ask the Japanese. They love to play on tiny screens.

I tried it once but I don't see the point for me.

I caught that. As you said, it isht terrible and if you can do it at all I'm interested. However, you sound a lot likr myself. I almost exclusivly play my Wii U on my gamepad too so if you find it severely lacking then yes it is cause for pause. Thank you.

I played all of Second Son through remote play. Felt great.

I play Resogun and Don't Starve on the Vita. Feels great to me. I intend to do a playthrough of TLOU once I buy it.

I still haven't found a use for it since my PS4 is right in bedroom. Well I guess continuing to play multiplayer games during a bathroom break must count for something right? XD
