Forums - Gaming - Which gaming system do you regret buying?

I wouldn't say I regret buying anything, since there will be always something to play, but in terms of systems that have disappointed me: Vita and Wii U

Vita because there's just not much to play on it, Wii U because of the system itself, and inconsistent releases.

The Saturn, though I bought a few years ago to add to my collection, not during its lifetime. I found it a boring addition with lackluster titles. Much later on I found a couple of arcade sticks for it and some multitaps, and discovered the great selection of fighters and multitap games that make the system worth owning for me.

Playstation 2 simply because it malfunctioned within 6 months of the purchase. PS1 also did the same, but that was after 2 years. Only reason I won't buy a Sony console until it has dropped in price significantly.

I wish I had waited to get the Wii. Full price, no bundle, disc read errors and no Club Nintendo points.

"You should be banned. Youre clearly flaming the president and even his brother who you know nothing about. Dont be such a partisan hack"

i regret nothing.

Only thing I regret is not buying a PS3 that can play PS2 games and the fact that the one I did get was faulty out of the box and a disc got stuck inside of one of the greatest war movies of all time and the cunts would not return my overpriced bluray disc.

I don't regret buying my Wii U, but I do regret buying it when I did. The deals on it after only a year were insane, and all the good games were delayed anyway. Pretty much no point buying it at launch other than the simple fun of having a system at launch. (Which I will say is actually pretty big for me, but this time it wasn't quite enough.)

Currently playing:

Bloodbath Paddy Wagon Ultra 9

N64 for me. I put off getting a PlayStation to stick with Nintendo.  When it was announced that final fantasy was leaving Nintendo for sony i quickly got a PlayStation and didn't buy many more n64 games.

Mario 64 is amazing and Zelda but i regret buying it and not just buying a PlayStation first.

None. Just like my games, I chose my consoles extremely carefully. So I'm never really disapointed with my purchases.

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

I haven't bought any systems that make me regret it later on. Some systems got better love than others but there were always a game to look forward to.

PS3, I bought it before they removed all the extra features like backwards compatibility extra usb and memory card ports and over paid for something I barely played!!! Of all my systems I own, ps3 is the least played ever with about only 10 games in my collection. After ps2 to ps3 I didn't know just how much sony systems relied on 3rd party as I bouht 3rd party games on 360 because of the better play and achievements my ps3 was just used for there exclusives .Could have waited for it to be way cheaper not worth it.
