We won't know the specifics of padib's role until the card is flipped. Simply voting outlaw won't solve anything. If outlaw is saved, he could be a mafia governor. If outlaw dies, he could have just been bluffing about his power because he was really certain outlaw was town, but actually has a different power. All lynching outlaw will do is tell us if outlaw was scum or not.

I think it's definitely possible that he's lying about at least a part of it. It would also be the most sensible thing to do, if you're going to talk about your role at all.

I thought about it. The reason I didn't do that is because it would amount to what we've all agreed would be detrimental to town, i.e. deferring a lynch to day 2. Since we already know who has voted for outlaw, I felt that 8 hours prior to day's end would be soon enough to cause a reversal and use the votes on Outlaw at T-8 to analyze the votes.

Realize, Trucks, that I've had this ability for 4 days longer than you've been able to think what is best for its use.

Without a flip on outlawauron there's nothing to analyze since we don't know if you saved a townie or a Mafia.

Another mafia's lynch? Did you seriously just admit there's another mafia faction, and that you're on it? You're the one pushing for this lynch.

 

His being a liar doesn't make him mafia, btw.

@padib: Now that you say you 1 shot is spent please answer me this, I want to be sure how this is supposed to work:

Does your ability work by telling the mod who you want to protect from a lynch on a given day? Or does your abitlity work by stopping a lynch once the Day is done (i.e time runs out or someone is hammered?)

It does look like that, but then I've suspected him for a while so I can't say for sure. What does everyone else think about this?

Mafia A is getting lynched.

Mafia B has governor power

Mafia B stops Mafia A's lynch. So Mafia has been able to stop another Mafia's lynch. There's nothing wrong with prof's statement. Like noname said earlier, you've got a real bad case of tunnel vision when it comes to prof.
