It was my first thought, but I don't know. Cone's new, but so am I and I realize why it's a bad idea. But then I was paying attention to the thread and you did explain that padib was unlikely to be targeted, and I think Cone had gotten off for the night, so maybe he missed that and didn't know better. Either way, if you were a mafia claiming doctor role and lying about who you targeted, who would you claim to have targeted? Padib may be a poor choice, but he's also not likely to have been investigated by anyone who might be able to confirm that no one visited padib last night. At the same time, you're supposedly vanilla, and padib is definitely vanilla now, so if spurge made a good decision in protecting a vanilla he thought (correctly) might be targeted, perhaps it's not that farfetched that Cone might decide to protect a vanilla that also seemed like he might be targeted, at least to someone new.

And I don't recall padib not trusting Cone, at least no more than a passing "well I guess he's sort of suspicious" sort of post, without any actual finger pointing. The only people I recall having significant feelings about Cone were the ones who voted for him.

omg there is no second vest. Like I said before, I was simply considering all possibilities, and I guess being careful/paranoid. I didn't want everyone to think that just because we only had one death, that the theory we were discussing near the end of Day1, ie the theory about multiple factions, was automatically invalid.

Why even mention the vest as a possibility of a blocked kill when when theres clearly a doctor?
