That's quite the slip sparks. You just called him non-mafia.

Not really. But you just made me realize something. Why are we all assuming he's telling the truth?

Yes, why are we sparks?

...What's gotten into you?

To check his claim? Anyway if he was targeted and is still alive...but Spurge is dead...did they choose two people?

Why would mafia want to check his claim? They already know who is and isn't scum.

Spurge is dead because he correctly predicted who would be killed at night, and thus died protecting that person.

I so don't want it to be two factions. I've never played a game with two factions before.

Whatever. Could you at least answer me this time? It would exclusively help town, and I can't find anything in the wiki.

Confirming RCT isn't mafia again?

That's quite the gambit, especially without day-talk.

...umm, how do you know there's no day talk?

If you read carefully, my message doesn't imply I know about it, just that the proposed gambit would be quite bold, even more so without day talk. My angle here is that it would take a really balsy player to attempt what Nickels was describing and I don't believe RCT to be that kind of player.

Right now, Nickels's insistence on creating a scenario where RCT is scum looks reaaaaally bad to me. RCT was almost lynched on Day One, that could make Mafia think he is a good candidate for a mislynch toDay. The way Nickels is pushing any theory that makes RCT scum right now gives me the impression that's exactly what's happening.

If you're in a multiple faction, you KNOW you're in a multiple faction. You don't have to be told and you never are.

I'm not pushing anything. I'm simply asking questions so that those who are more experienced in both the game and with playing with RCT can answer them and alleviate my suspicions. Yesterday I suspected TheProf and because I asked those questions I now believe TheProf is a townie. I am simply trying to do the same with RCT. I had suspicions of RCT yesterday and I was convinced to vote for outlaw instead but those suspicions were not alleviated. I am simply trying to alleviate those suspicions.

Jeez, relax, would ya. It's just a hypothetical, ie assuming there's one faction, why would the mafia risk wasting their kill on someone with a vest? It just doesn't add up.

Maybe some other party wanted to check his claim, but it's probably not mafia (in a single faction game).
