Will Nintendo post a single operating profit?

As you all may know, the downfall of Nintendo's profits all started with the launch of 3DS. Ever since, Nintendo hasn't posted a single operating profit for a full fiscal year. So my question is, with 3DS sales rapidly declining and wiiU sales failing miserably, do you think that Nintendo will even post a single operating profit in this entire wiiU/3DS generation? If so, why? If not, why not?

Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M

Both are not sold at a loss anymore so I expect them to post a profit pretty soon.

Wii U and 3DS are making profits, it shouldn't take long.

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

They should post one soon, the 3DS is no longer sold at a loss, Wii U seems to also not be selling at a loss, Mario Kart 8 should be close or had completely returned what was needed to be develop, so it should be leaving profit soon, and we have Amiibos coming up with Smash, if Nintendo doesn't post a profit after Smash and Amiibo, then they really are in trouble

COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).

Yes.

Recent Q1 loss was actually due to cost of goods sold > revenue coming in. Since COGs is pretty low for games, we can assume the losses are hardware related. Nintendo's inventory levels are at an historical high -- meaning theres a bunch of Wii U and 3DS produced at a high cost in 2012/2013 sitting in warehouses. In accounting speak, if they LIFO their inventory to favor profitablly produced HW while weaning down high cost inventory and selling more games, they can post a profit.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

I don't think there's much doubt of otherwise. Even with their shitty line up.
