Not even close.

What are you basing this off. Like I said I own or have played all of them it it is certainly at least close....

And no, that is not youtube compression. Those are weak textures and extreme blur issues. Even easily seen on direct screenshots.

Not even close to the crisp, high quality image of Infamous.

Thats not fair, it looks soo much better in motion. And. Im not sure what youve seen but the textures are top notch.

The Last of Us is such a polished game, the addition of 1080p 60fpd and hi res textures make it feel like it has always belonged on the PS4. In all honesty I feel this game it just behind Infamous SS in terms of GFX and at times better IMO it goes Infamous SS > TLOUR> Killzone SF=Ryse SoR. I own 3/4 and borrowd ryse from a friend. It just something about how thoughs decade overrun interiors of houses look!!!! Anyway whos with me?

Thats fair, ive noticed some of the pop in at distance. But noting up close so far, im about 4 hrs in.

It looks great but the outdoor lighting and simple backgrounds betray it as a last gen title. I have only played the beginning though, and I remember the last of us getting a lot better as you get further into it.

Polished is also questionable, I've had several glitches and stutters already. People in the car crash flipping back to the wrong position, animation not working when you cross a checkpoint resulting in a passport floating in mid air, mirror glitching out in photo mode. 30fps lock also does not improve self shadowing or add shadows that are missing. It's still like the original that only some items cast a shadow when you're using the torch.

So no, I wouldn't put at near the same level graphically as KZ:SF or Infamous SS. Gameplay wise it's still great, and 1080p and 60fps do make a difference. Turning is much smoother, and no more blurriness (apart from some low res textures) I didn't really care for 60 fps in fps/tps before, yet after flipping back and forth, 60 fps suits my play style much better, which is routinely checking around me, thus a lot of quick camera turns.
I also really appreciate the surround sound setup options, you can adjust speaker locations to match to your own setup.

For a last gen game in the most powerful console it performs below expectation. This is a cash grab. Nothing else. And yes. I will be getting the last of us remastered very soon because of the DLC.

I personally have not experience d those gliches but im not saying they do not exist. Also I some waht agree whith you on the outdoor lighting sadly :( but the interiors of all the houses look sooooo good. Outside still looks good but where the game reallyshines is indoors.

Well thats your opinion and thats fine but please lets just discuss GFX. Besides ng a cash grab or not is irrelevant to this conversation. Thank you for your input tho.

Infamous was pretty breath taking and amazing. Haven´t played the last of us yet...

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

If you expect this to look as good as Infamous you will be disappointed. But it does have its moments where in my opinion looks better. Great game tho all around. Im soo happy they put this on the PS4!!!!!!!
