Yuru camp rally has picked up for me after a slow and boring start. They really know what they're doing. I haven't been able to catch up with Sora yori but I assume it's still bloody excellent.

Mitsubishi Colors also grew on me a lot. Overall a pretty chill and great season.

Pop team epic for me, such a breathe of fresh air and one of the few shows that keeps making me come back and wanting more this season. Even with reading the manga, a lot of the anime only content has been very good and it also has my vote for best OP this season as well. (Also, Popuko x Pipimi OTP)

Apparently I'm going here on my first day in Tokyo.

Gonna try to get an autograph from Colors!

Wow, it's real.  Even the little police station thing.

Careful of the police there, they're pretty mean.

Started watching Violet Evergarden this week, man I’m hooked. I know there’s no action but the story is gripping me like crazy. I can’t wait to fully find out about her past and what the future holds for her.

Any retro anime fans? Here's a short from the 1930s.

Just dropping by and saying that Violet Evergarden is ONE OF THE BEST ANIMES I HAVE WATCHED!!!! Every episode was just beautiful!

It will be tough for any other animes this year to knock this from its #1 spot on my list. And this is just winter!!!!

Pocky Lover Boy!

I'm back from vacation! Was a lot of fun...though I probably should have paced myself with the roller coasters...

Haven't watched all the weekly anime I missed, but did check out DarFranxx and Sangatsu tonight.

Dahring was...interesting. I'm guessing the old woman is Zorome's mom? Or just some caretaker he used to know. The world the average person lives in seems pretty bleak...though I guess from another perspective it's a utopia. Reminds me of a sci-fi book I read a long time ago. Curious what they mean when they say the kids are infected. Infected with emotions? Or something more literal. Curious @_@

Sangatsu is just delightful like usual. Feel so bad for Chiho...but like before I like seeing the situation being resolved so realistically, and how the issues on all sides aren't just ignored to move the plot along.

Interesting...reminds me a lot of the Disney/Looney Tunes shorts we had back during this era. Funny to see how different countries use animation for war propaganda.

It's really something else! It's had some dull moments here and there, but it deserves credit for making me feel things I forgot I knew how to feel. Haven't seen last week's ep, but the one before that was pure magic.
