It really depends, to be honest.  Some tsunderes I hate, some I like a lot.  I pretty much always like danderes, though, so I'll go with that.

@Poll: Tsunderes are usually my favorite characters, so I gotta go with that. Though it's honestly a fairly broad character type...and a lot of characters that fall into other tropes might have tsundere tendencies, so maybe it's an unfair advantage? Still, I find the tsundere trademarks usually pretty amusing. I love the "fighting like an old married couple" theme, and so a character that isn't afraid to act rough with their partner is always a plus for me. Just as long as it isn't overdone...but that goes for any trope really.

I also prefer characters that show growth, and see it more often with tsundere types. I suppose you could argue that's more of a preference for main characters rather than the trope itself...but it seems like there's quite a bit of overlap anyway.

I don't really dislike any character type exactly...though I do find hajideres to be extremely uninteresting in general. I know there's always exceptions, but I've been in way too many fandoms where that character type gets worshipped for doing basically nothing...which always baffles me. I do like danderes occasionally....just as long as they aren't background blobs.

Yeah...he definitely takes his time. Last time I read, I marathoned like 10 chapters at once, and all that happened was the Captain-Commander's fight with black sniper dude. The fight with giant viking was about to start, and so I figured I'd just come back to it in a few months. I think it's been a month since then...so If the pacing is improved now, I might catch up again this weekend.

I'm usually impressed with Kubo's artstyle, and he does some great flashbacks, I just really wish he'd work on the pacing. 

A few suggestions I have....take em, leave em, or save em for a rainy day:

• Favorite anime length (12, 20, 50 episodes, ongoing)
• Favorite anime source material (shounen, shoujo, light novel, real novel, original, etc.)
• Preferred anime gender ratio (probably gonna be one-sided on this thread...lol)
• Favorite element of anime (animation, story, voice acting, etc.)
• Sub vs. Dub (this will probably be everyone vs. uran)
• Favorite year for anime (90s, 2000s, 2014, whatever increment works best)
• Favorite genre 
• Favorite studio
• Favorite voice actor/actress
