ERASED is so good that it's almost painful when an episode ends.

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo has a chance to join the upper echelon of comedic anime.  It's hilarious.  The people behind this clearly understand humor.  Maybe not Azumanga Daioh/Nichijou level but certainly not far behind.

Seraph of the end season 1 finished, first of all... fuck that ending and Guren. Secondly, I'm not sure what side I'm rooting for anymore, I'm leaning towards vampires.. That was great tho, I couldn't put it down.

Thoughts on season 2?

Even better ...

The first season was just average while the second season was something genuinely good ...

Worst 5

1. Lance N Masques - Holy hell I have never seen an anime worst than this. Loli's every f****** where and the plot.... its plot is dumb! omg... It makes some of the things I've read on the internet look like they were made by genius... and most of those things sucked!

3. Comet Lucifer - lololol don't watch its dumb.

4. Triage X - boobs and blood... so amazing -_-

1.  Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru no Darou ka?  Came out of nowhere for me.  It had so much more going for it than most action anime.

2.  Non Non Biyori Repeat.  One of the highlights of my week.  It wasn't just cute and funny, either, as many of the episodes made you feel good about life.

3.  Subete ga F ni Naru: The Perfect Insider.  I had a few small problems with the conclusion but it was highly entertaining and original.

4.  Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru.  Loved the main character.  There had better be another season on the way.

T5.  Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka??  So darn cute and fluffy.

T5.  Hello!! Kiniro Mosaic.  Also cute and fluffy with some hilarious characters.

T5.  Yuru Yuri San☆Hai!  Kyoko, Yui, and Akane are some of the best anime characters ever.  Not every episode was great but a few were brilliant.

T5.  Hibike! Euphonium.  This was really good and had an unique feel to it.

Honorable mentions (in no particular order):

Wakaba*Girl.  It just made me smile.

Rokka no Yuusha.  I liked the mystery of it and the characters.

One Punch Man.  Not especially deep (in the first season, anyway) but it was always entertaining.

Junketsu no Maria.  Very original and I loved the art.

Rolling☆Girls.  It was let down a little by the muddled ending but overall it was a lot of fun.

Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata.  Kato is one of my favorite characters of the year.

Koufuku Graffiti.  Very soothing.

Worst:

1. Lance N' Masques.  One of the worst anime I've ever seen in my life.  I hated so many things about it.

2. Triage X.  Not only was it goofy and dumb, it was also kind of ugly.

3.  Isuca.  Just a waste of time.

I find it painfull just watching it, its so well made that i can't divert my eyes yet at the same time, its increadibly distressing and upsetting that i want to look away.

That's why.  I want to see if he can overcome the massive odds of going up against a smart, resourceful serial killer as a 10 year old kid and change a future that ended so darkly.  His mother was murdered, an innocent (maybe) friend was framed and sentenced to life in prison, and  two of his classmates were kidnapped and murdered, one of whom was systematically abused by her mother.  That's heavy as hell and no easy task.  However, I really, really want to see Kayo's mom get what she deserves.

Edit:  Punchline on the worst list?  I very much disagree.  I thought it was one of the most clever and intelligent anime of the season and one of the few that tried to surprise me on a weekly basis.

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! ep 2. This might have just become a contender for my AOTS.

It's easily the funniest anime of the season for me. It's absolutely ridiculous in all the best ways.

Yeah, maybe. When that blonde girl appeared I died!!!  Im watching soooo much comedy animes this season!

I don't get the hate for Tokyo Ghoul √A, I really enjoyed the direction it went and would have liked to have seen it progress further.

OMG! SAME HERE!!!!! I dont get it as well. Maybe cause I didn't really like Season 1, which made me have low expectations for season 2. But every episode of season 2 have something I enjoyed. There was More characters! (Which i really like here), And more Action scenes. Plus that ending was very Beautiful! (IMO probably one of the best ending of an anime, and the acoustic version of that song really suited the setting). Well season 1 ending was really good too! (Best part in that season for me).

Pocky Lover Boy!

Yuri-homo!  That's an interesting case of word borrowing.  Episode 2 of Shoujo-tachi was fun.  However, I'm a little sad that it looks like yet another anime where the childhood friend gets left behind.  I kind of hate that.  It's the most predictable thing in the world and so over-used.

My TOP 5 Best Animes in 2015!

1. GATE - This is my AOTY! I really love the contrast of this two worlds! The characters and the plot just had me in every episode until the end!

2. Tokyo Ghoul Root A - Like I said, I was shocked at how much people didn't enjoy this (Judging from Myanimelist and other places). There was more characters which have their own personality and abilities which I really liked.

3. Rokka No Yuusha - This one had me guessing who the culprit is every week! It was like Another again. And I was very shocked on who it was at the end.

4. Death Parade - I just love when Animes or movies makes these ordinary games turn into some death battle. I felt very connected to each of the contestants who participated!

5. Shokugeki No Souma - I knew this was going to be good because of FOOD + ECCHI. And it did not disappoint! Every dish just had me drooling!

My Top 5 Dissapointing Animes in 2015!

1. Dance With Devils - This had me cringing in most of the episodes (In a bad way) The art style looks neat, but the boring characters and the plot just ruined it! (Not Finished)

2. Log Horizon Season 2 - This was quite a disappointment from the awesome 1st Season. They took too long in that dungeon and there was too much talking which got me bored. (Not finished)

3. Aoharu X Kikanju - Like from the previous posts, the idea was there and the characters were enjoyable for me. But it didn't go anywhere. Its like they could fit all of this in 4-5 episodes. (Finished)

4. Kancolle - Not much to say about this, it was just too "Cute/moe" for me to handle. The character designs looks very nice. But he use of CGI while they were fighting turned me off. (Not Finished)

5. Parasyte - The first half of the anime HAD ME! The progress on the MC was really good. But after it went veryyyyyyy SLOW! It  felt like it was dragging itself. And there was those moments that went very anti-climatic. (Finished)

Pocky Lover Boy!

Top Anime of 2015? Hmm...

1.) Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders (2nd half) - This show is ripe with old-school shonen cliches, absurd character designs, and some asspulls so ridiculous it makes Dragonball fights look interesting.

Despite that...it's absolutely fantastic. The overall premise was interesting and kept me engaged the entire time. It had great characters, voice actors, OST (not in 2015, but the first half had one of my top 5 favorite OPs ever), and the humor was amazing. It's hard to put into words exactly...but when I think about anime I watched last year, this one definitely left the biggest impression.

Also, Joseph's Engrish...

2.) One Punch Man - Honestly, if this was longer it would probably top Jojo on my list. Great characters and humor, and I like its take on classic shonen cliches (fits pretty well behind #1..lol...) It was a blast that stayed strong the entire season, and I liked it enough to jump into the manga, which is also fantastic.

3.) Seven Deadly Sins (2nd half) - My first exposure to this was through a crossover spinoff where Hiro Mashima (Fairy Tail author) and Suzuki Nakaba (Seven Deadly Sins author) drew each other's characters for a short christmas chapter. It wasn't a great first impression, since Suzuki's version of Natsu and Happy looked horrible and incredible amateur. Fortunately...anime isn't manga, so I decided to try it out.

Great story...great characters...and some interesting mystery beneath it all. It definitely wasn't perfect, but I enjoyed it enough to give the manga another shot. Turns out that crossover wasn't his best showing after all...and currently the manga ranks in my top 5 weekly.

4.) Shokugeki no Souma - Honestly, I didn't get around to watching this until December, so this is like a last-minute entry onto my list. It caught me off guard with the premise, but it kept me engaged the entire time. I never would have expected a show about cooking would capture my interest so much. Very fun story, and I liked almost every character (with the exception of child-hood friend girl...but mostly because I'm tired of character type, and Megumi already fills that particular niche in the series). My only gripe was the character overload towards the end...which is more of personal grievance than anything else.

Hopefully Alice and Erina are more prominent next season.

5.) Nisekoi - This is probably a bias choice...since I'm likely the biggest Nisekoi fan on these boards. Season 2 was a definite downgrade to Season 1, with less episodes, continuity, and a bigger focus on autoconclusive stories over longer arcs. Still...the Hana arc alone was enough to leave a huge smile on my face. Despite wasting time with Magic girl dreck and the red herring girls, Shaft did a great job with the more story focused episodes, and even added some additional Chitoge content for the canon shippers of the story.

Runner-ups: Charlotte, Kekkai Sansen, Danmachi

I wouldn't know what to pick for my worst anime...other than maybe Anti-Magic Academy. It's the only show I dropped last year after getting halfway through it.
